A guy I work with built this car for fun. It’s a 63 Pontiac Tempest sedan with an LS/5-speed stuffed in it. I’m usually against LS swaps, but he did this all in his little garage on the cheap (under $2k total IIRC). It was a parts donor for his 63 Tempest 2 door, which is mostly original, so he had a bare shell just laying in his shed. He took that shell, a wrecked silverado, and a trans from another silverado and made this:

Very nice - love the name, too.
Does look like it lost the rope drive and IRS in the swap though - cool car!

EllEss Pest. I love it as well.
It is a custom driveshaft (that he made in his garage), running to a Ford 9" rear end.

LMFAO!
He’s a super cool dude. He’s currently working on a rat rod pickup using an International Cab, custom frame, and the original 4 cyl drivetrain from the Tempest....

With a 5 speed? What the actual fucking fuck? That seems kinda silly.

Would have made more sense to spend thousands more to get a 6-speed instead of doing a cheap fun build right?
